Vroom Vroom... Start your engines you little f-slurs, because we are bringing camp to Nascar! Boudoir presents Gaytona 500: an extra special dance/racing affair. We will be celebrating all things speedy, checkered, bodysuits and gasoline kissed leather. This theme speaks for itsel tho, so get creative with your looqs. Can someone please come dressed in the racing suits used in Charlie's Angel (2000) pls????
For our guest DJ of the night, we have: T.Wan. She's a Brooklyn-based DJ with deep origins in Seattle. Her perceptive ear for trippy techno and bassy, polyrhythmic tracks captivated listeners at Honcho Campout and has since earned her opportunities to play at notable NYC venues like Nowadays, Basement, and Good Room. Before finding herself on the East Coast, T.Wan cut her teeth as a DJ/organizer with the femme-focused collective TUF and explored her eclectic musical range with a monthly show on Bristol-based Noods Radio, where she’s been a resident for the past 3 years. We are super excited to have her at club Bou Bou.
Accompanying our guest DJ will be Boudoir resident Adam Unknown. Whomst we believe could not be a better pairing ;) Expect a mind melting set from Adam.
And we're not done yet. We are bringing back drag to Boudoir for this special event, where we will be having a drag race with local drag artits: Sherm and Dawna Thyme! Drag Race will be ~11. Don't miss it.
